Rugby Expo 2011 Give Away Free Tickets to Local Rugby Clubs Following Partnership

doctor helvetica, sans-serif;”>Community Rugby League clubs will receive complimentary tickets to Rugby Expo 2011 as a result of a new partnership between the Rugby Football League and Rugby Ventures, the owners of Rugby Expo.

Rugby Expo is taking place at Twickenham on November 23 and 24 and covers both codes of rugby; attending delegates will benefit from master class workshops and interactive product demonstrations designed to meet the specific needs of clubs.

The agreement will see community Rugby League clubs receive two free tickets to attend the second day of Rugby Expo on Thursday November 24 when the programme focuses on supporting the requirements of the grass roots game.

Clubs are encouraged to apply as soon as possible to guarantee their place as there is only a limited number of tickets available for this offer.

Senior figures from the Engage Super League, Championship and Championship One will be also be attending the event and mixing with their counterparts in Rugby Union.

The RFL’s Director of Participation, David Gent is one of the guest speakers at the event where he will talk about the Four Seasons debate and reasons for switching the sport to a summer-based season structure.”

David Gent said: “We’re delighted to be able to offer community Rugby League clubs the opportunity to send two delegates to this event free of charge and I hope that many will be able to attend. It’s a great opportunity to network with people involved in both codes of rugby, speak to different Rugby suppliers and listen to a variety of speakers from the sporting world.”

John Hockey, chairman of Rugby Expo 2011 organisers Rugby Ventures said: “We’re delighted to welcome the Rugby Football League and its clubs to Rugby Expo 2011. The aim of the event is to be inclusive of both codes and all forms of the game their involvement will add significantly to the event and the quality and value of the debates and discussions.”

Rugby Expo will host more than 50 leading speakers from across the sports industry, 40 rugby focused exhibitors and over 1,000 delegates over the two days.
