Royal Brunei Airlines to Sponsor Brunei Olympic Team at London 2012

Brunei athletes, ed Ak Hafiy Tajuddin Pg Rositi and Dyg Maziah Mahusin competing in Athletic Sports in the London Olympic 2012 received a financial boost after Royal Brunei Airlines agreed to sponsor the team for the event.

His Royal Highness Prince Haji Sufri Bolkiah, doctor the President of Brunei Darussalam National Olympic Council, was present to witness the signing ceremony for a sponsorship agreement between the Brunei Darussalam National Olympic Council with Royal Brunei Airlines, TelBru and Mitsui Consortium. 

Royal Brunei Airlines will be the official airline for the Brunei Olympic team. Royal Brunei Airlines will sponsor the return air fares to London for Ak Hafiy Tajuddin Pg Rositi and Dayang Maziah Mahusin as well as the rest of Brunei’s contingent.

Dermont Mannion, Deputy Chairman at Royal Brunei Airlines, said, “We are proud and deeply honoured to be bringing our national athletes to London for the 2012 Olympics. We wish them the best of luck on fulfilling their dream in representing Brunei at this great event.”
