October 4, 2013

Fort Worth’s Ricky Bobby Sports Saloon and Restaurant will serve as the title sponsor for the AAA Texas 500 pre-race show featuring O.A.R. on Sunday, Nov. 3, at Texas Motor Speedway.

Ricky Bobby Sports Saloon and Restaurant Pre-Race Show featuring O.A.R. will begin at 12:20 p.m. CT – 1 hour, 40 minutes prior to the start of the AAA Texas 500 Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup race – and be highlighted with a one-hour concert with the rock band formally known as Of A Revolution. O.A.R., who has sold more than two million albums since releasing its first in 1997, has produced a number of hits, including its popular 2008 single “Shattered,” which was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Other hits include “Love and Memories,” “Heard The World,” “Lay Down,” “This Town” and “Heaven.”

Ricky Bobby Sports Saloon and Restaurant, located at 2200 NE Loop 820 in Fort Worth, also will serve as the site for the official after party for the AAA Texas 500.

“We are delighted to partner with Texas Motor Speedway on this event because it ties in perfectly with the NASCAR theme of Ricky Bobby Sports Saloon,” said Eric Langan, president of RB Restaurants Inc., the company that owns the restaurant/sports bar. “We are looking forward to hosting the official party after the NASCAR Sprint Series and O.A.R. concert. We couldn’t be more convenient because we’re located just down the road.”
