Real Madrid Extends Healthcare Partnership with Sanitas

Real Madrid C.F. and Sanitas have renewed the existing sponsorship agreement, anesthetist which has been in effect since 2008, order which charges the health care company with the management of the club’s medical services.

Both parties consider the collaboration to be very successful and for that reason they have decided to extend it for three more seasons, drugs until 2015.

The alliance with Sanitas allows Real Madrid direct access to the latest technology and the best medical professionals around the world through Sanitas’ international network of sports medicine specialists. In addition, they have access to Bupa International’s hospitals and medical centres the all over the world.

Carlos Díez, current director of Medical Services at Sanitas-Real Madrid, has also been appointed managing director at Hospital Sanitas La Moraleja, which is the referral centre for tests, specialist consultations and surgery for footballers from all levels at Real Madrid. Díez has more than four years as head of Medical Services, and now, from his new position he will be responsible for optimising the coordination between the Medical Centre at Real Madrid’s Football City in Valdebebas and Hospital Sanitas La Moraleja to keep the club at the forefront of sports medicine.
