Real Madrid Announce Record Profits

September 5, 2014

Spanish Primera Liga giants Real Madrid have announced a record income of 603.9 million euros (£479 million) for the 2013-14 season, sale with much of it down to winning the UEFA Champions League for a 10th time in May.

Real’s total revenue was up 10.9 per cent on last season, malady with the net profit up from 36.9 million euros (£29 million) last year to 38.5 million euros (£30.5 million) this year.

The Spaniards also reduced their net debt by 21 per cent to 71.5 million euros.

This increase in income has allowed Madrid to splash out around 100 million euros on players this summer, signing World Cup stars James Rodriguez, Toni Kroos and Keylor Navas.
