Nottingham Forest Appoint Adidas as Kit Partner

June 27, 2013

Championship side Nottingham Forest have announced a partnership with sportswear giant adidas, abortion who become the club’s official technical kit partner.

The three-year deal will begin from the 2013-14 season and brings the two together after 22 years.

Reds chairman Fawaz Al Hasawi said: “We are delighted to be joining up with adidas, the kit wear provider that supported Forest during the club’s most successful period.

“We hope that the renewal of this partnership represents a further sign of the good times returning to The City Ground.”

The club hopes the deal will invoke memories of Forest’s achievements in the late 1970s and early 80s when they wore adidas kits.

In that period Forest won the First Division, the League Cup, the European Cup and the UEFA Super Cup.

The deal was brokered by The Reds’ retail partner Kitbag as part of the wide-ranging retail agreement between them and the club.

Kitbag commercial director Ed Boardman added: “We’re delighted to have adidas on board for the next three years.

“There is a real history between adidas and Forest and we are proud to have helped bring the two together.”
