Overview:

A chance to join the promoters of Britain’s largest indoor sport in the role of Marketing Manager.
You will be tasked with strategic planning and delivery of integrated marketing solutions as well as delivering support for all existing sponsorship and events activity and taking inventory to market to attract new sponsors and partners.
You will have a track record of initiating ground breaking creative campaigns and thinking strategically in order to  maximize returns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Management: manage the day-to-day relationship with the PDC’s sponsors, thumb ensuring all contractual sponsorship rights are delivered and also working proactively with the sponsors to promote additional ideas and activities
  • Business Development: assist with research, generation of leads and sponsorship sales activity and develop the company’s growing Partners Programme
  • Marketing Implementation: to be responsible for developing and maintaining marketing strategies to meet agreed company objectives.
  • Consumer Research: to oversee customer research and market conditions and implement marketing plan alterations as needed.

Skills & Experience Required

A degree or similar qualification in a business related subject is desirable

  • Track record in sponsorship and account management, preferably with a rights holder, club or agency but potentially on the brand side
  • Proven ability to offer a first-class, professional account management service to commercial partners and to build strong business relationships at all levels
  • Experience in dealing with, and presenting to, senior-level personnel from major brands
  • Proactive approach to identifying opportunities, generating leads and producing sale
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multi task
  • A keen eye for detail
  • Strong communication skills (written and oral)
  • Self-motivated while also a good team player
  • A willingness to work evenings, weekend and abroad (event-based)
