Manchester United launches its YouTube channel

Manchester United has announced the launch of its YouTube channel.
The channel will give fans access to official club content for the first time. It will launch with exclusive features with the first team players.
It will also show stylised match footage and legends along with top 10s. The archive section will allow users to relive a famous match from the past.
YouTube further reported that videos related to Manchester United generates some of the most view Premier League content on the platform. United recorded 843 million views from the start of the 2017/18 season.
Tomos Grace, YouTube’s head of sport for Europe, Middle East and Africa said: “Amazingly, even without an official football channel it is the most viewed club in the world on YouTube. But one channel that people are looking for is the official Manchester United voice. The plans they have are very exciting. They want to go big.”
