Lindt Becomes Title Sponsor of 2013 Italian Open

The Open de Italia, herbal which will be celebrating its 70th birthday this year, has announced Lindt Italia, the Italian arm of the premium Swiss chocolatier, as the new title sponsor of the European Tour event.

The 70th Open de Italia Lindt will take place at Golf Club Torino, the home club of the Molinari brothers, Edoardo and Francesco from September 19-22.

The Open de Italia is an important part of this and having Lindt on board as title sponsor is an important boost for this prestigious event.” 

Franco Chimenti, President of the Italian Golf Federation, added: “To have as title sponsor such as Lindt, who are an important group, is a further confirmation of the strong promotional impact of our national Open.”

Lindt joins several other famous companies which are also sponsoring the event, including Rolex, Regione Piemonte, Lavazza and Golf Club Golf Torino..
