June 6, 2014

Stanley Cup finalists Los Angeles Kings have announced today the continuation of their partnership with Travel Alberta.

“The LA Kings are beyond excited to not only renew its partnership with Travel Alberta but to extend the scope with truly innovative elements that promote vacationing in Alberta, price order year round, discount ” said Luc Robitaille, President Business Operations, Los Angeles Kings. “Whether it’s Banff in the Summer time or Skoki Lodge in the Winter time, my wife and I always love the experience Alberta provides and we look forward to our fans having the opportunity to thoroughly enjoy their experience as well.”

Following two successful seasons promoting awareness of the Canadian province, the LA Kings and Travel Alberta will look to showcase summer and winter experiences through the eyes of team personnel including Bailey, the lovable LA Kings mascot.  Fans can watch videos of Bailey as he explores Calgary, the Canadian Rockies, and other adventures such as dogsledding, the Stampede, skiing and much more.

Alberta, Canada will continue to be the “Preferred International Travel Destination of the LA Kings,” in addition to receiving in-arena signage, online exposure, in-market activations, an LA LIVE Plaza takeover, and marketing opportunities in and around the LA Kings Holiday Ice at LA LIVE.

“This relationship is the epitome of a great business and marketing partnership,” said Royce Chwin, Chief Marketing Officer, Travel Alberta. “We’re excited by the opportunity to further connect with Kings’ fans in new and innovative ways, and to show them just how incredible an Alberta vacation experience can be.”
