The England bid team for the 2018 World Cup has received the support of Thomas Lyte, the silversmith and craftsman who has maintained and restored the FA Cup for the Football Association for decades. The firm has commercial relationships with over 60 per cent of Premier League clubs and provides trophies and awards for governing bodies and sports federations around the world. The company will be aiding the bid by providing FIFA approved, bespoke document cases during the upcoming inspection visit of officials who are currently in Russia. The country's bid has received widespread support, including for popular footie stars like David Beckham and Wayne Rooney. England skipper Rio said: "It's a chance for the country to get together as one team." |
