German Media Group Gain Online Broadcasting Rights for Australian Open

The Sportsman media group, has acquired the live streaming rights for betting and gambling purposes of the Australian Open.

The Munich-based sport rights and sport marketing agency and Tennis Australia agreed on a two year deal starting in 2012.

The year’s first grand slam tennis tournament is another high profile sporting event in the Sportsman’s live streaming portfolio for online betting and gambling operators.

Tennis Australia CEO, Steve Wood said, “Tennis Australia is delighted to have signed a two year deal with the sportsman media group and we look forward to a successful and mutually beneficial commercial relationship.”

The Sportsman specializes in providing live streaming solutions for online betting platforms.

For more than six years the Sportsman has offered and implemented live motion pictures of high-profile sporting events to enrich live betting offerings for their clients. Amongst the clients of the sportsman are companies such as bet365, betfair, bwin, Interwetten, Bet-at-Home, Betclic, Expekt or Unibet.

To date the Sportsman is offering more than 20.000 live events for betting and gaming purposes per year.
