Spartan Race is an international obstacle racing series with three levels of courses: 3 mile sprints, 8 mile Olympic (Supers) and 10 – 12 mile Ultras (Beast) where competitors will run, jump and crawl their way over a dozen or more obstacles throughout the grueling course. Each region experiences courses starting with a Sprint and working up to an Ultra. World Championship Ultra will be held annually in Vermont starting in 2012. Courses are uniquely designed to test your mental and emotional fitness and push you past your limits. The races are muddy, creative, and extreme.
