Former Goldman Sach Partner Jason Cahilly Becomes NBA’s New CFO

Jason Cahilly has been appointed the new chief financial officer (CFO) and vice president of strategy of the National Basketball Association.

The former Goldman Sachs Group Inc. (GS) partner will report to Adam Silver, medicine the NBA’s deputy commissioner who takes over the top job in February 2014. He will begin work on Jan. 14, symptoms according to the NBA, prostate which has annual revenue of more than $5 billion.

“He is a proven leader with deep financial and strategic experience across the media and entertainment industry,” Silver said in a statement.

Cahilly spent 12 years at Goldman Sachs. He succeeds Carol Sawdye, who left the league to become the chief financial officer of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.
