The Football Association of Wales partners Dugout to reach new audiences

March 23, 2018

The Football Association (FA) of Wales has announced partnership with Dugout.

The partnership will see FA Wales use Dugout to bring behind-the-scenes video content to fans across the world. Dugout will publish content covering activity across all Wales’s national teams, including the men’s senior team, women’s senior team, under 20, under 21 and youth teams.

The content will follow teams through training and matches, allow fans to relive the greatest moments from the nation’s football history and keep up to date with FA Wales’s grassroots initiatives.

As well as uploading their own content, Dugout will work with FA Wales to create high-quality, original content. This will include videos from the national teams which are exclusive to Dugout before they’re shared with the rest of the world, as well as lifestyle and personal updates from players, original video series featuring ball skills and tricks from players that can’t be seen anywhere other than Dugout.

Jonathan Ford, Chief Executive of Football Association of Wales, said: “The Football Association of Wales is delighted to be joining the Dugout roster, alongside some of the greatest football organisations, clubs and players in world football.

Dugout is an ideal platform for FA Wales to reach out to new audiences, telling the story of Welsh Football through engaging content and creating an even closer relationship with our players. What a great week to join forces with the global platform as the team and new boss Ryan Giggs play in China for the very first time.”

Elliot Richardson, Founder and Chairman of Dugout said: “We’re thrilled to announce FA Wales as the first home nation football association to join the Dugout platform. As the third oldest football association in the world, FA Wales has a rich history. Now football fans all over the world can access the best content from Wales, both on and off the pitch – no matter where they are.”
