April 23, 2013

NFL Quarterback, generic Drew Brees has revealed he has sealed a deal to become the new brand endorser of clothing brand, sale Wrangler.

The New Orleans Saints player will join Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Brett Favre as endorsers of the iconic denim brand and will be featured in upcoming marketing campaigns, scheduled to launch in August.

The newest member of the Wrangler team is regarded as one of the best quarterbacks ever to play in the NFL, with a Super Bowl ring, the NFL’s single-season passing record (5,476 yards), and a reputation as a driving force behind the New Orleans Saints and the city of New Orleans since 2006.

“Both on and off the field, Drew has proven himself to be a determined, down-to-earth man that many people look up to and respect,” said Craig Errington, Vice President of Wrangler marketing. “His dependability, work ethic and family values make him a natural fit for Wrangler. He epitomizes the core values of our brand, and we look forward to cheering him on during the 2013 season and beyond.”

“When I’m off the field I just want to be comfortable,” said Brees. “Wrangler jeans help me do just that. I’ve always admired Wrangler and what the brand stands for, and am honored to be a part of this partnership.”

Brees will be featured in national advertising, promotions and in-store signage for the Wrangler Five Star Premium Denim line.
