Overview:

RELEVANT GENERAL OBJECTIVES

  • Manage the continual development of the digital marketing function promoting all areas across the club
  • Plan, maintain and action a three monthly digital marketing planner
  • Liaise with relevant agencies to include Two Circles (data & marketing) and 3-Bit (website)
  • Provide support for Senior Management team in the compilation of reports, speeches and presentations
  • Protect and enhance the Trent Bridge brand and its values
  • Preserve the status of Trent Bridge as a welcoming venue for supporters and media professionals

SPECIFIC ROLE PROFILE

  • Produce and activate a Digital Marketing plan (concise working document) and contribute to the Marketing & Communications Strategy
  • Manage the relationship with the club’s data marketing agency (Two Circles)
  • Manage the relationship with the club’s web agency (3-Bit)
  • Produce and deploy targeted campaigns to communicate news and commercial content to members of our database
  • Support the Commercial Director/Senior Marketing Manager in campaign marketing concept and website development across all areas of the business
  • Facilitate the continual expansion of our electronic database and maintain the integrity of its use
  • Assist in maintaining strong relations with visiting media professionals and maintain high standards of media service at domestic and international matches at Trent Bridge and provide cover for Media and Communications Manager in his absence
  • Conduct regular user surveys and produce reports highlighting areas of strength and weakness and opportunities for improvement
  • Produce a monthly report highlighting key statistics, user trends and the commercial performance of the shop and ticketing element of the club’s official website
  • Deliver post campaign evaluation reports e.g. post-match reports, media monitoring and cuttings reports, Committee/management board reports etc
  • Identify examples of good practice in all areas of new media
  • Produce and publish content for the club’s website, social channels and print publications (working in conjunction with the Media and Communications Manager)
  • Serve as Editor of Covered, the Club’s official magazine
  • Make recommendations to staff in all departments to increase the reach of their products and services
  • Match-day production role to include camera work, media support and other appropriate duties
  • Support the Commercial Director/Senior Marketing Manager to devise and deliver a three-year new media strategy for the Club including highlighting the use of web and social media platforms to drive incremental revenue
  • Oversee the development of the Club’s website and take responsibility for its editorial content
  • Ensure that design and functionality of web platform supports overall business requirements, whilst conforming to brand guidelines
  • Ensure regular delivery of e newsletters, podcasts and video content
  • Ensure web platform is up to date with relevant content and information
  • Actively contribute to departmental goals and projects
  • Provide cover for Media and Communications Manager during planned and unplanned absence
