British Judo Association to Wear Adidas Apparel after New Sponsorship Deal

The British Judo Association have announced a new sponsorship deal with cimac, the exclusive distributor of adidas martial arts and boxing equipment.

An agreement has been reached with the distributor to supply the Great Britain squad with adidas branded apparel and judo gis so that they are prepared as they step out on the tatami in world tour events including the European Championships in Glasgow on the 8-12 April 2015.

The company will act as the official supplier to JudoStore (BJA’s online shop) and some of the new range of adidas t-shirts will be available at European Open for women this October. Through this partnership clubs, coaches and individuals will be able to benefit from the relationship through online promotions and discounts.

Podium and podium potential athletes at the British Judo Centre of Excellence will receive tailor made Judo Gis and there will be tracksuits, bags, polo shirts and other judo leisure wear and apparel distributed to staff.

“It is an opportunity to benefit from Adidas’ global reach – as British Judo’s official supplier for judo gis.

“This was following a robust tendering process to find the best company to fit both squad and BJA shop requirements. It is a fantastic position to be in ahead of the Rio 2106 Olympic Games.”
