BBC Extend Queen’s Club Deal Until 2024

January 12, 2017

The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) has agreed a deal to broadcast the Aegon Championships at The Queen’s Club until 2024.

The BBC will broadcast TV, radio and online coverage of the London event, which traditionally serves as a warm-up event for Wimbledon.

Sir Andy Murray has confirmed he will continue to play at Queen’s until his retirement, with the Scot’s first ATP World Tour match win coming in the tournament in 2005.

The Scot was knighted in the New Years Honours list after a stellar year in which he won Queen’s, Wimbledon, and Olympic titles, and became World number one for the first time.

Murray’s victory over Canadian Milos Raonic in the 2016 final was watched a television audience of 3.7m.
